She waved her hands, there was a
lag
I followed, I thought about water
I followed, her hands, my mind stretched
I held my breath
“Breathe.” She instructs
I breathe. I feel life resume its course
“What did you think about? How did it make you feel?”
My face shape shifted; a lava lamp
The colors oozing and exploding out the crown of my head
I opened a bridge to the cosmos
I sunbathed, I dipped my toes, let the whole ocean swallow me
I felt free, desirable jello
I wasn’t afraid - the waves,
gargled me. I, the oracle of treatment, the speaker of the thoughts that solidify
I am judgement free - my accordance is undivided
I rest my arms on a life circle, my head bobs
above the waves. The sun returns, she chimes,
“How does that make you feel? Think about that feeling.”
Back and forth and back and forth she waves her hand and my eyes they follow
I can’t help but hollow my breath
the stillest concentration
I strain out the rest of the world, back and forth and back and forth and,
“Ok, let’s take a breather,”
7 minutes on the clock,
We wrap up
I think about her hands, the way the light caught
her wedding ring. How the jewels dazzled and,
conducted my mind
She was a conduit
I was the healing
